- 2. Directory Structure of Struts 2 Menu is ROOT Directory of Application. All *important* stuff goes into WEB-INF. Classes contains class files and struts.xml which is heart of application Lib contains all JAR files needed for application Src contains source files that we can also keep anywhere in application. All the JSP and other files can be kept in ROOT Directory or any other directory.
- 3. Main Componets of Struts 2 WEB.XML (Deployment Descriptor) Contains the definitions of all Servlets, Servlet - mappings, Servlet – filters, welcome – file – list etc…. It is the Most important component of the application. Central configuration file for all Web application. It resides in WEB-INF. Struts.xml Entry point for application. Resides in WEB-INF/classes/ Contains definition for actions, results, packages etc…. Heart of the Struts 2 Application. WEB-INF Contains configuration files, classes, JAR files. Contents in this directory are hidden and private.
